FAQ
What does plant-based mean?
A diet that emphasizes minimally processed foods derived from plants and limits the consumption of animal products
Do you use any local ingredients?
In the growing season, we source as much local, organic produce as possible for our juices. We believe in supporting Manitoba famers first, Canadian farmers second. Of course, some of our juice ingredients just don’t grow in Canada, but if you find out a way to grow lemons and pineapples on the prairies, let us know!
Why do you use glass bottles?
Glass is just better! You can wash it and reuse it over and over. More importantly, chemicals from plastic can leach into its contents. Glass is better for our health and the planet!
What does cold-pressed mean?
Using hydraulic pressure to extract liquid from fruit and vegetables without denaturing enzymes or damaging nutrients.
How long do the juices last?
Because our juices are made raw, unpasteurized, with no additives or preservatives, they have a shelf life of 5 days in the refrigerator.
What should I do with the empty bottles?
You can bring your washed bottles back to Verde. Please rinse in hot water, air dry upside-down and don’t put the lid back on! As part of our recycling program, we will give you 25 cents per juice bottle.
Do you offer free delivery?
We offer delivery within city limits. Deliveries are made on Tuesdays and Fridays, between 10-2.
There is a minimum order amount of $50 for delivery.
