FAQ
What does plant-based mean?
A diet that emphasizes minimally processed foods derived from plants and limits the consumption of animal products
Why do you use organic ingredients in the juices?
Mainly to reduce the consumption of harmful chemicals, but also to support sustainable practices that build healthy soil microbiology and prevent erosion, leaving fertile land that will provide for future generations.
Do you use any local ingredients?
Being from Manitoba, it makes it difficult to locally source all of our produce, especially in the dead of winter. We do our best to work with local farmers whenever possible.
Why do you use glass bottles?
Glass is just better! You can wash it and reuse it over and over. More importantly, chemicals from plastic can leach into its contents. We chose to use organic produce to reduce consumption of chemicals, therefore the only option is glass.
What does cold-pressed mean?
Using hydraulic pressure to extract liquid from fruit and vegetables without denaturing enzymes or damaging nutrients.
How long do the juices last?
Because our juices are made raw, unpasteurized, with no additives or preservatives, they have a best before date of 5 days in the refrigerator.
What should I do with the empty bottles?
Keep them and reuse them…maybe a vase, water bottle?? Alternatively, you can bring your washed bottles back to Verde. As part of our recycling program, we will give you 25 cents per juice bottle and 25 cents per shot bottle.

We offer free delivery on orders over $50 and within city limits. Deliveries are made on Tuesdays and Fridays, between 10-2, so order accordingly.
